Pictures from our 2007 trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in Florida (128 pictures)

On December 3-8, 2007, my wife and I went down to Walt Disney World. We stayed at the animal kingdom lodge and were privileged to attend both the sunset and sunrise safaris. The pictures in this album are from the animal kingdom lodge. For other pictures from our trip see: A storm was prediced for the morning we we to leave, and we drove into Boston and stayed there overnight rather than face the traffic. There were several empty seats in the plane, so we feel we made the right decision.

Pictures from the Sunset Safari (59 pictures)

The sunset safari is an extra cost option for concierge guests that takes you around the animal kingdom lodge to see all of the animals and then has a meal at Jiko. We found it really fascinating, and our guide knew every single animal at the lodge by name.

One minor note about the photos, I discovered afterwards that the exposure setting on the E-1 was set a little off (+0.3 EV bias), but it was easily fixable in post processing.
