Pictures from the 2010 Arisia science fiction convention (26 pictures)

On January 15-18, 2010 the Arisia science fiction convention was held in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I attended Friday evening, and Saturday-Sunday.

On Saturday, I took the Seneca camera on a Samigon flash bracket I had bought and then didn't use as much. In practice, the bracket isn't that sturdy, but for a costume, it worked well. Having the E-P1 on the top part worked ok, but in the future, if I go with the configuration again, I will want to add a ball head, so I can better aim the E-P2. On sunday, I carried the Seneca camera on my walking staff which doubles as a monopod along with my mascot, Nutzo. Unfortunately at the end of the day, the camera fell to the ground, and I lost several screws, and rebroke one of the wooden posts. I had quite a few people coming up and ohhhing and ahhing the camera.

In practice, the bracket isn't that sturdy, but for a costume, it worked well. Having the E-P1 on the top part worked ok, but in the future, if I go with the configuration again, I will want to add a ball head, so I can better aim the E-P2. Unfortunately at the end of the day, the camera fell to the ground, and I lost several screws, and rebroke one of the wooden posts. I had quite a few people coming up and ohhhing and ahhing the camera.
