For the last few years, for steampunk events and renaissance faires, I have disguised my camera in various fashions. This album contains the pictures for things that I did in 2014.

Ever since I created my female squirral mascot Levina (named after Levina Teerlinc, a female court painter in the time of King Henry VIII and Elizabeth I in England), I have wanted to have her paint in real time. I bought a 1.5" NTSC/PAL monitor from adafruit.com to be her live painting.

Pictures of Leonardo Da Vinci's flying machines as steampunk props (5 pictures)

One of my ideas has been to have my squirrels (Nutzo the photographer and Levina the painter) have an aerial airship. I bought a kit of Lenoardo Da Vinci's Aerial Screw to use as a base for the airship. I had originally meant to finish it in time for Arisia, but I didn't finish it at that time.

I bought this lovely box from Michaels or A. C. Moore, that may eventually be a new box to disguise my camera. However the box was a bit tougher to cut, and it has been put on the back burner for a bit.
